Placing & securing the Thule Vector - Alpine to most vehicles existing roofracks is quick and simple thanks to the Powerclick mounting. To get the perfect roof placement when the PowerClick fittings are placed through the internal mounting rail and placed on the roof the Vector - Alpine can be slide backwards or forwards to get the perfect position which for most vehicles will allow full boot access with minimal risk of contact between the cargo box and boot lid. Once the perfect positional placement has been found to secure the PowerClick mountings simply twist the top knob until the integrated indicator clicks. Once the PowerClick is clicking this shows that the perfect torque has been reached. This is done on all 4 included PowerClick fixings then the box is ready to be loaded with cargo followed by the lid being secured and locked closed. Once the box lid is securely closed and locked your cargo and the PowerClick mountings are safe from anyone else attempting to get at them.
