The Thule Motion 3 XXL is the largest roof box in the Motion 3 range its dual side opening lid accessing 600L of internal storage. With a sleek and stylish design which maintains the Motion 3's class leading aerodynamics this roof box is quiet on the roof and thanks to its reduced drag, more fuel efficient. This makes the Motion 3 XXL perfect for large family holidays and big trips away where you don't want to compromise on what you can bring along.

To make mounting this box simple Thule have fitted it with their PowerClick claw clamps. These torque limited clamps can fit around many roof bar shapes and click off when up to tension, making secure mounting almost fool proof. To mount to a range of roof rack spacings these clamps are mounted to slide tracks in the base of the box, this also allows the roof box to be mounted forward on your roof rack, reducing the chance of roof box and car boot contact.

 Keeping your items secure is the top priority of a roof box, and Thule have put their best system in the Motion 3 XXL. The SlideLock multipoint locking system has independent locking and opening functions. A large sliding latch opens multiple locking points down the side of the roof box, when open the sliding latch shows a coloured indicator. Each of the multiple locking points automatically lock into place when the lid is lowered, the latch returning to its original position when all are securely locked. Separate barrel locks on either side of the roof box lock the sliding release latch using the provided Thule Comfort Keys.
