High volume, low profile roof box
The Thule Motion 3 XXL Low is a low profile version of the largest roof box in the Motion 3 line-up. With the length and width of the Motion 3 XXL this roof box is perfect for carrying longer items such as skis and snowboards as well as other equipment. The sleek and stylish design of this roof box looks great on the roof and with Thule's class leading aerodynamic design, is nice and quiet on your roof rack during transport. The aerodynamic shape also reduces drag which aides fuel efficiency.
Mounting the Motion 3 XXL Low to your roof rack is incredibly easy thanks to Thule's PowerClick claw clamps which fit a range of roof bar types. These torque limited clamps audibly click-off when secure and are mounted into slide tracks in the base of the roof box to allow adjustment to fit a wide range of roof rack spacings. Thanks to these slide tracks the roof box can also be mounted forward on your roof rack to reduce the chance of roof box to car boot contact.
To keep your belongings secure inside the Motion 3 XXL Low Thule have used their multipoint SlideLock locking system. A large sliding catch releases multiple locking points down the length of the box, the sliding catch even indicates when any one of these points is open. The reinforced box top lid with large moulded in handle makes singlehandedly opening or closing this roof box simple and when all of the locking points are locked into place the sliding lid release returns to its original position. The SlideLock systems located either side of this dual-side opening roof box can be locked down via the barrel locks next to them with the included Thule Comfort Keys. This gives you great peace of mind that the roof box is securely locked during transportation.
