Mounting this roof box to your vehicles roof rack is incredibly quick and easy, thanks to Thule's PowerClick adjustment claw clamps. These claw clamps fit into slide tracks in the base of the roof box and can slide to fit a range of roof rack widths, the entire roof box can even slide forward on the roof rack to reduce the chance of roof box and car boot contact. To ensure the Motion 3 XL is securely mounted every time Thule fitted their claw clamps with a torque limiting system which clicks off when they are securely mounted.

Fitted with a reinforced lid and integrated handle the Motion 3 XL can be opened and closed singlehandedly. Thule have also fitted their SlideLock system, using multiple locking points to secure the roof box which released via a large sliding latch. This latch is coloured to indicate when any one of the side locks hasn't been correctly locked, when secured the SlideLock latch returns to its original position, making it easy to secure the box lid correctly.  Factory fitted barrel locks disable the sliding latch mechanism using the included Thule Comfort Keys, this provides maximum security for your belongings.
