Raised Platform, Boot Mounted 2 Bike Carrier

The Thule OutWay Platform is a raised rear/boot mounted cycle carrier for 2 bikes, its innovative design mounts bikes above the vehicles rear lights and numberplate so an additional lightbar or numberplate is not required. Quick to mount and dismount and compact for easy storage, the OutWay Platform is the ideal carrier for regular use.

Supplied with a range of securing rubber pads to fit a most common vehicle boots, these pads provide a grippy mounting points which also protect the vehicle. To secure onto your vehicles boot the OutWay Platform uses 2 high strength cables fitted to torque limited fastening dials, these ensure a secure fit whilst also eliminating the risk of overtightening by audibly clicking off when they reach the correct tension. When securely in place these dials can be locked, locking the carrier to your vehicle.

Mounting bikes onto the OutWay Platform is easy, fold out wheel trays with padded ratcheting pump buckles secure your bikes wheels into place. Removable frame clamping arms with Acu-Tight torque limited frame clamps securely hold your bikes frame, the torque limited dials eliminate the risk of overtightening, clicking off when the correct tension is reached and are lockable when secure, providing great security.

When not in use the OutWay Platform can be folded flat against the vehicle making parking in tight spaces or parallel parking much easier. With bikes unloaded the vehicles boot can still be accessed. The OutWay Platforms compact folding design and light weight makes it easy to store, fitting into most vehicle boots, and its light weight makes moving to and from your vehicle a simple task.
