Easy Mounting Feature Packed 2 Bike Carrier

The Thule Epos 2 is an incredibly versatile towbar mounted 2 bike carrier with a high capacity, highly adjustable securing arms and a wide loading area making it the ideal carrier for transporting larger or heavier bikes like E-Bikes or specialist cycles where a standard frame mount isn't ideal.

The patented telescopic clamping arms provide a secure mounting point which can attach to a range of points including the bikes frame and rear wheel, this is ideal for some bikes with a non standard frame such as full suspension mountain bikes or E-bikes. The pivoting head provides a secure fitment area and uses steel reinforced ratcheting straps to fasten, these are lockable to ensure secure mounting during transportation. Long wheel trays fit bike up to 1350mm and are fitted with ratcheting wheel straps to keep the bikes wheels securely in place.

When mounting your bikes it is recommended to mount the heavier bike closer to your vehicle, bikes can be fitted onto the Epos 2 in any order which makes this much simpler.

Mounting the Epos 2 onto a towbar is made super simple thanks to the self stabilising coupling which secures the carrier onto the towbar with a one handed fastener, this is then lockable for additional security during transportation. Fitted with a 13-pin electrical adapter as standard the Epos 2 provides a full rear light set and number plate holder, ideal for when bikes are mounted as they may block the vehicles lights.  

Accessing the boot of most vehicles is still possible when the Epos 2 is mounted and loaded thanks to a Smart Foot Pedal Tilt which angles the entire carrier and bikes away from the vehicle for better clearance, ideal when adding those last minute things into the boot.

The Epos 2 can be folded when not in use, reducing its overall size and making storage much easier, Thule have even fitted the Epos 2 with integrated carrying handles which make moving to and from the vehicle much simpler.
